Cairo, Egypt -- The Hanging Church (El Muallaqa) of St. Mary, is the most famous of Cairo's Christian churches. It was built atop the sourther tower gate of the old Babylonian fortress in what is now Coptic Cairo and overhangs the original gate passage.
