Sand drifts high in the pathways and across what used to be the boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, USA, in the wake of a major Atlantic northeast storm ("nor'easter") that arose from the remnants of Hurricane Ida in November, 2009. The storm brought in exceptionally high tides and waves that flooded many beach communities, but in Rehoboth mainly rearranged the beach sand and dunes.
