High Perch.  A young man perches right on the edge of Karak Castle's battlements, atop a sheer face several hundred feet above the Wadi al-Karak, below.  The bluffs on the Israeli side of the Dead Sea are clearly visible in the distance.  According to legend, the ancient Biblical condemned cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were between Karak and the Dead Sea, in this view.
